Adding an Official “Book Now” Button to Your Instagram Profile

Many stylists assume most booking apps integrate with Instagram’s official “Book Now” CTA button, but in reality very few platforms have this feature.
This is because Instagram requires booking companies to go through strict, time-intensive testing, approval, and compliance processes before they can add the official button to a user’s profile.

Most booking systems, do not meet these requirements simply because the process is extremely demanding, and Instagram only approves a small, selective list of partners.

Why HUSL (and most booking platforms) can’t activate the button

Instagram partner approval is extremely selective
Instagram works with only a handful of booking partners worldwide. Approval includes security checks, system audits, and deep technical reviews.
Intensive technical integration is required
Approved partners must build a live, secure connection with Instagram’s backend so booking availability, client data, and appointment details sync instantly. This requires major development resources.
High compliance and legal obligations
To protect user data, Instagram requires extensive documentation, legal agreements, ongoing monitoring, and strict privacy standards - far beyond what most apps need for normal operation.

What You Can Do Instead

Even though the official button isn’t available, stylists can still convert Instagram traffic into bookings easily.

Option 1: Add your HUSL link in your bio

Open your Instagram profile
Tap Edit Profile > Links
Insert your HUSL link under External Link > Add title "BOOK NOW"
Save

Option 2: Use stories and highlights

Add your HUSL link using the Link Sticker > Change Sticker Title to "BOOK NOW"
TIP: Save it under a Bookings highlight for quick access
