Are deposits refunded after the Appointment has been cancelled?

Find out what happens to client deposits when an online booking is cancelled

No, deposits are not automatically refunded when a client cancels an appointment booked online.

Because the deposit has already been paid at the time of booking, it is not considered part of a cancellation fee and will remain in your account.

If you choose to refund your client as a courtesy, you’ll need to do this manually by logging into your Stripe account and processing the refund from there.

💡 Tip: Make sure your cancellation and deposit policy is clearly stated when clients book online to avoid confusion.
