Can I change my mobile number in the automated SMS appointment reminders to my social media handle?
Short answer: Not at this time. Automated SMS reminders are designed to include your mobile number only.
Why it works this way
We’ve set it up this way to make communication easier, faster, and more reliable for both you and your clients. Appointment reminders are all about reducing no-shows and making rescheduling simple - SMS is the best channel for that.
Another reason why we haven’t given the ability to swap your mobile number for a social handle (yet) is due to the SMS character limit.
Even going one or two characters over can trigger a double SMS charge from phone providers. We want to keep costs as low as possible for you, the stylist.
