Can I give my client a special code when booking their service for a discount?

How to manage special offers or discounts in HUSL bookings

At this stage, the HUSL app doesn’t have a built-in promo code feature for online bookings. However, there are two easy ways to offer specials or discounts:


Option 1: Create a special service or package

If you’re running a promo (e.g. “Spring Blowout Special”), you can set it up as a separate service.
This allows clients to book that discounted offer online like any other service.

Steps:

  1. Go to your Manage My Services section in the HUSL app.

  2. Tap +

  3. Name it clearly (e.g. “Blowout Special – $80”).

  4. Set your price, duration, and description.

  5. At the very bottom of that service, toggle on Online Booking and Featured Service
  6. Save — your clients can now book the special directly online.


Option 2: Offer a discount at checkout

You can apply $ or % discounts on services or physical products during checkout.

  • Simply tap ‘Discount’ at the top of the checkout screen.


Option 3: Use a code in the Booking Notes (workaround)

If you’d like to give clients a code (e.g. “SPRING20”), ask them to enter it in the Booking Notes when making their booking.

When the request comes through:

  1. You’ll see the code in their note.

  2. Tap ‘Reschedule’ → this opens the Edit Booking page.

  3. Tap ‘Edit’ next to the service cost and adjust the price to apply the discount manually.

Tip:
Include a short instruction in your bio or booking description like:
“Got a special code? Add it in the Booking Notes!”
