Does updating my service pricing affect existing bookings?

How pricing updates work in HUSL

When you update your service pricing, it will only apply to new bookings made after the change.

Your existing bookings will remain at the original price they were booked at.

Why HUSL works this way

This is intentional and follows best practice for service-based businesses.

When a client books, they are agreeing to a specific price at that time. Changing that price later can:

  • Create confusion
  • Impact trust
  • Lead to awkward conversations at checkout

By keeping existing bookings unchanged, HUSL ensures you honour the price you originally quoted your client.

👉🏼 Can I update the price on an existing booking?

Yes - if you’d like to apply the new pricing to an existing booking, you can update it manually.

Steps

  1. Go to your Calendar
  2. Tap on the booking
  3. Select Options
  4. Tap Edit Booking
  5. Tap Edit next to the service/s you want to adjust
  6. Update the price as needed

💡 Tip

Only update existing bookings if the client has been informed and agreed to the new price - this helps maintain trust and avoids any confusion at checkout.

Bottom line

Price updates apply to new bookings only, but you have full control to manually adjust existing bookings if needed.
