How to Book a Manual Appointment in HUSL

Step-by-step guide to scheduling, managing, and rescheduling appointments in your HUSL app.

Booking appointments in HUSL is quick and easy. Follow these steps:

1. Open the Calendar

  • From the home screen, tap the calendar icon at the bottom.

  • Swipe to select a time, or tap the top-left calendar icon to switch to week view.

2. Select Your Client

  • After choosing a time, you’ll see your customer list.

  • Tap to select a client (make sure they are added to your customer list).

3. Choose Services

  • Select the services in the order you’ll perform them.

  • Tap “Select Services” at the bottom once complete.

4. Confirm Booking

  • Review the appointment on the Confirm Booking page.

  • Edit any part of the booking by tapping the right arrow.

  • Add a Booking Note if needed — this saves to the client’s record (HUSL offers unlimited client records).

  • Tap “Confirm Booking” when done.

5. View and Navigate Your Calendar

  • After confirmation, you’ll return to the calendar view.

  • Zoom in/out to see more or less of your day. This works in week view too.

6. Rescheduling Appointments

  • Long-press the appointment until you feel a snap/vibration.

  • Drag the appointment up, down, or across in 15-minute increments, then drop.

  • If SMS reminders are on, tap Save — your client will automatically receive a notification.

7. Booking Multiple Appointments

  • To book another appointment during a processing time, tap the processing time area and repeat the booking steps.

  • Double bookings will appear alongside the original appointment.

  • You can book up to 3 appointments simultaneously (including tasks).

Tips for Success:

  • Always ensure your client list is up to date for faster booking.

  • Use Booking Notes to track preferences or special instructions.

  • Turn on SMS/email reminders to reduce no-shows.

  • Zoom in/out to get a better view of busy days.
