How to Export Your Client Data from Fresha

Step-by-step guide to exporting your clients, services and appointments from Fresha so the HUSL team can import your data for you for FREE.

Good news, our team imports your data for you, complimentary.
You just need to export a few CSV files from Fresha and send them to us.

Follow the steps below.

Step 1 — Export Your Client List

  1. Open your Clients list in Fresha

  2. Click Options

  3. Select Export as CSV

What Client Data We Can Import

Think of this like mixing the perfect colour bowl - we just need the right ingredients.

We can import:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Mobile number (essential)

  • Email address

  • Client notes

Important:
The mobile number is the key identifier for each client — just like how a colour formula belongs to one specific client.

✔ As long as the client has a mobile number, we can bring them across to HUSL.

Step 2 — Export Your Services

  1. Open your Service Catalogue in Fresha

  2. Click Options

  3. Select Download CSV

This file allows us to recreate your services inside HUSL.

Step 3 — Export Your Appointments

  1. Go to Sales → Appointments

  2. Choose the date range you want to export

  3. Click Export → CSV

This lets us import your bookings.

Step 4 — Send Your Files to HUSL

Once exported, email your files to:

indiesupport@husl.io

Please send the email from the same email address linked to your HUSL account and attach:

  • Clients CSV

  • Services CSV

  • Appointments CSV

👉🏼 Important Note About Processing Times

If processing times were not properly set up in your services in your previous booking system (such as Fresha), your Services → Bookings will be imported exactly as they existed in that system.

Once the import is complete, you’ll need to:

  1. Go to your imported services in HUSL

  2. Edit the service settings

  3. Add processing time within the service structure

The total duration of the service should remain the same, but it will now be structured using HUSL’s processing time feature.

Why This Matters

Adding processing time allows:

  • Clients to book during the processing period via online bookings

  • You to maximise appointment availability

What Happens to Existing Bookings?

  • Imported bookings will remain unchanged.

  • New bookings moving forward will follow the updated service setup that includes processing times.

✔ Double-check your mobile numbers are included before exporting.
