How to Set Up TaptoPay in the HUSL App
Take payments straight from your iPhone or compatible Android device, no extra hardware needed.
📱 What You’ll Need:
- 
A compatible device: - 
iPhone 
- 
Android (device must have NFC chip - check your phone settings) 
 
- 
- 
HUSL App updated to the latest version 
- 
Card payments enabled on your HUSL account -> Connected to Stripe 
🔧 How to Set Up TaptoPay:
- 
Open the HUSL App 
 Make sure you’re logged in to your stylist account.
- 
Top left Profile image ->Payments 
- 
Tap on 'Set up TaptoPay' - 
Follow the prompts 
 
- 
- 
Test it out 
 When checking out a client, you’ll now see a TaptoPay option — Wait for the TaptoPay screen to show, then simply tap their card, phone, or smartwatch to your phone to process the payment.
💡 Tips:
- 
Ask clients to tap the top of your phone for best results. 
- 
Make sure NFC is turned on in your phone settings (Android only). 
- 
Hold steady — some cards take a second to register.
