Why can’t I download the HUSL app on my iPad or Android tablet?

Troubleshooting steps if your tablet says the HUSL app isn’t compatible or won’t install.

If you’re unable to download the HUSL app on your iPad or Android tablet - even though it’s optimised for tablets - don’t worry!
This is usually due to a simple device setting or storage issue that can be fixed in a few quick steps.

The HUSL app is available on both the App Store and Google Play Store, and has been optimised for iPads and Android tablets.
However, some devices may still show messages like “This app isn’t compatible with your device.”  This is usually caused by software, region, or storage settings.

Android or iOS version If your tablet’s software is outdated, the store may block downloads. Check Settings → About tablet → Software update and install any available updates.
Region or country restrictions The HUSL app is currently available only in Australia, so ensure your device’s region settings match.
Play Store caching or account issue Sometimes the Play Store doesn’t refresh properly. Try clearing cache/data or re-signing into your Google account.
Insufficient storage or system issue If your device is low on storage, the app might not appear or install. Free up space, restart your tablet, and try again.

🛠 Steps to fix the issue

  1. Check available storage
    Go to Settings → Storage and make sure there’s enough free space to install the app.

  2. Update your tablet’s software
    Go to Settings → Software update → Download & install to ensure your system is up to date.

  3. Clear the Play Store cache (Android only)
    Go to Settings → Apps → Google Play Store → Storage, then tap Clear cache and Clear data.
    Restart your tablet and try downloading the HUSL app again.

  4. Check your region settings
    Make sure your device is set to Australia, as the app is currently only available there.
