Why SMS reminders matter

SMS reminders help reduce no-shows, last-minute cancellations, and those “Oops, I totally forgot!” messages we’ve all received.
Most industries send reminders 72 hours before an appointment - because it gives enough time to refill a gap if a client cancels.

Delivering reminders automatically means less admin for you and a more reliable, predictable schedule.

How to turn on your SMS reminders (step-by-step)

  1. Open your HUSL home screen

  2. Tap your profile image (top left)

  3. Toggle ‘SMS Reminders’ ON

  4. (Optional but recommended) Tick ‘Allow Auto-renewal’

  5. Tap ‘Enable Reminders’

Important

  • Ensure your credit or debit card is updated in Payments settings - this is required for reminders to send.

  • If a client’s mobile number is wrong or outdated, the SMS cannot be delivered.
    → Quick tip: update numbers while your client is in the chair, during processing time.
