How to use the Stripe card reader to take card payment

Once you've connected your card reader in the HUSL app, you will be able to complete your clients card transaction by having them tap or insert their card. Keep watching this video to learn how!

Step 1

Check out your customer as normal, whether it's a service or product.

Step 2

Once you click 'Pay Now' you will be directed to 'Pay via Terminal' or 'Send Bill via SMS/email' 

Step 3

Select 'Pay via Terminal' to pay with reader.

Step 4

Your phone will connect to the card reader.

Step 5

Your card reader will display the price when it's ready to accept the payment.

Step 6

Tap or insert card to pay.

Step 7

Wait for the card reader to accept the payment.

Step 8

Your phone will then tell you the payment was successful.

USING AN IPAD OR ANDROID TABLET?
To prevent your card reader from going to sleep, keep it plugged into your tablet rather than connected via Bluetooth.
